Policies and Cancellations

Guests of all ages are welcome at the Inn, but those under age 12 must be particularly well behaved in consideration for our other guests. Vermont 10% lodging tax is not included. “Whole House” rates with a 2-night minimum are available for groups.

No smoking of any kind is permitted on the property. The Inn does not have a liquor license, but you are welcome to BYO. We have all the necessary glasses, ice, ice buckets, openers, etc.

RESERVATIONS:

Reservations can be made by phoning the innkeeper at 800-394-7239. A Visa or MasterCard is required by telephone and will guarantee your reservation. You will NOT be charged any advance deposit, but cancellation charge policies do apply.

CANCELLATIONS:

We are a very small inn and, although we are sympathetic to family emergencies, we appreciate your understanding our cancellation policy.

Late arrival (after the date specified) and/or early departures will be treated as cancellations- you will be charged for all the dates of your reservation. So please make any adjustments in advance.

We will cancel your reservation with no charge if the cancellation is made at least 14 days before your arrival date. If your cancellation is within 14 days of your reservation, you will be charged the full rate and issued a voucher for the full amount less $25 unless we are able to re-rent the room. If we are able to re-rent the room, there will be only a $25 administration charge. Vouchers may be used for a future stay with the following restrictions: they are not valid during foliage season or other peak times (Middlebury graduation, camp drop-off and pick-up weekends, school vacation periods, and holiday weekends); you need to mention the voucher when making your reservation.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:

Check-in time is between 3pm and 7pm (please call to arrange earlier/later check-in). Morning check-out is by 11am. Take an additional cup of coffee for the road and come back to see us again soon.
