The Inn on Park Street is well suited for such a weekend. Our village location is perfect for shopping and doing the galleries. Yet hiking, biking, golf, and cross country skiing are only minutes away. The area is rich with antique shops whose owners offer our guests special attention. Brandon now also boasts 2 wineries, 2 breweries, and soon a distillery too. Custom tastings can be arranged. Our central Vermont location also puts many options within a half hour or an hour.
The village has several choices for lunch or dinner. Café Provence is popular throughout the state with its chef/owner Robert Barrall, formerly with the New England Culinary Institute and the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.
With just 6 rooms, we are an ideal size for a group of friends to get away. Some getaway ideas include antiquing, a moderate or strenuous hike, a full or half day of biking or snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Or a more relaxing itinerary includes area historical sites, museums, and covered bridges. And of course, there is always shopping! (Burlington is just an hour away.)
