Rhonda and Bob Foley of Old Mill B&B and Neshobe River Winery
Judy Bunde of The Inn on Park Street
Cost: $650 for 2, tax included

This 3-day experience offers cheesemaking, wine tasting, and a cooking lesson.

Day 1:
Arrrive at Old Mill Inn B&B and enjoy a wine tasting. Your hosts, Rhonda and Bob Foley, will take you on a tasting of their wines in the tasting room at the barn of Neshobe River Winery. For dinner you can choose from fine local restaurants located in Brandon or across the mountain in Rochester.

Day 2:
After a hearty full breakfast at the Old Mill you will travel to Trevin Farms where Troy Peabody and Kevin McNaught will introduce you to their herd of Nubian goats. You can help tend the animals if you like- feed, water, and milk. Next you will work with Troy to make their Trevin Farms Mountain Chèvre. After the cheese is hung there will be plenty of time to relax, hike, or explore. Dinner at the farm will be prepared by Kevin and Troy (both professional chefs) and served in their fireplaced dining room. After dinner, weather permitting, the star-gazing is amazing!

Day 3:
Full breakfast is served at the farm and you get a second chance to milk the goats! Then you check in at The Inn on Park Street in the village of Brandon. Plan on about 3 hours for your afternoon cooking lesson; we can do it early or late depending on what other activities you want to include in the day- shopping in Brandon and doing the round of galleries there, a hike or bike ride, an early round of golf at the Neshobe golf course. The subject of the cooking lesson will be arranged individually before your arrival. A 4-course candlelight dinner at The Inn on Park Street might be served on the gingerbread front porch in season.

Day 4:
After the country breakfast at The Inn on Park Street, you can say good-by to Brandon and explore elsewhere, or continue to enjoy the warm hospitality of Brandon's shopkeepers and artists.
